Privacy Policy

DTC Mobile Apps is a content directory. We don't sell products, run user accounts, or build advertising profiles, so we collect very little. This page explains what we do collect and why, in plain language.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. This relies on cookies and is processed by Google under its own privacy terms.
- Brand-lookup searches. When you use our "does this brand have an app?" search, we log the search term you type so we can see which brands people look for and improve our coverage. These logs are deliberately minimal: we store the query text only, with no IP address, no device or browser identifier, and nothing that ties a search to you.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect payment details or sensitive personal information.
Cookies
The only cookies we set are those used by Google Analytics for aggregate measurement. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser that limits tracking, with no loss of functionality on this site.
Third parties & external links
We link out to official listings on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and to brands' own websites. Once you follow one of those links you're on a third-party service governed by its own privacy policy — we have no control over, and take no responsibility for, how those services handle your data. Our analytics provider (Google) processes data as described in its privacy policy.
How we use data
Strictly to operate and improve the directory: measuring traffic in aggregate, understanding demand for brands, and responding to messages. We do not sell or rent data, and we don't share it except as needed to run the services named above.
Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser, opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on, and email us to ask what (if anything) we hold about a message you sent. Because our search logs contain no identifiers, we're unable to link them back to an individual.
Children
This site is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
