About Ace Hardware
Ace Hardware is a cooperative of independently owned hardware stores — around five thousand of them worldwide — selling tools, paint, lawn and garden supplies, plumbing and electrical parts, and household hardware.
The model keeps stores small and local while giving them shared buying power, and the chain competes on convenience and staff knowledge rather than warehouse scale.
